Located on the family’s former apple orchard, Barren Ridge Vineyards is now home to Augusta County’s premier winery. John and Shelby Higgs converted their old apple barn into a state-of-the-art winery, preserving the original structure and wood beams. The tasting room features wonderful wines that are available daily for complimentary tours and tastings.

Bluestone Vineyard is a family owned and operated vineyard and winery that is committed to crafting wines from local sourced and estate grown fruit that showcase the very best in each varietal and vintage.  All Bluestone wines are produced at the winery located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley in Bridgewater, Virginia. From the moment you step foot in Briede Family Vineyards, you will be welcomed like family.  That’s because when we established this vineyard in 2013, we did it on the very land where we raised our own family for the past 30 years.  Each one of us has a part in the winemaking process, from tending to the vines by hand to carefully aging the perfect combination of grapes.  It’s this love and attention, combined with sustainable practices, that make each bottle special.

At Brix and Columns Vineyards we have a strong agricultural heritage which extends through our vineyards to our wines.  We value structure both in our wines and in our architecture.  We are currently growing seven varietals: Cabernet Franc, Chambourcin, Chardonnay, Petit Manseng, Petit Verdot, Vidal Blanc, and Viognier. We invite you to enjoy our wine and panoramic mountain views.

Cave Ridge is a family owned and operated vineyard and winery located in the foothills overlooking the Shenandoah Valley, world renowned for its scenic beauty and history. We produce wines that emphasize the fruit character of the grape using a minimalist approach to our winemaking. Cave Ridge adheres to sustainable farming practices in order to promote a healthy ecosystem for future generations.

Join us in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley to unlock the love of Virginia wines. Open since 2008, we offer a wide selection of wines in the Tasting Room along with a menu of delicious food items to pair with your glass of wine on the patio. Our spacious rooms and terraces with panoramic views of the valley and surrounding mountains provide the perfect setting for a gathering of friends and family. Ecco Adesso Vineyards at Skyline Meadows Farm is a family-owned estate winery in Fairfield, VA, nestled perfectly between the Blue Ridge & Appalachian Mountains in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley wine country. Our unique property is just shy of 350 stunning acres encompassing springs, meadows, gardens, vineyards, waterfalls, hiking trails, orchards, creeks, meadows, and protected forests. Great Valley is a farm winery/vineyard and brewery located on 27 acres in the beautiful southern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  We craft our award-winning wines from grapes grown on our farm as well as from small family-owned vineyards throughout the valley.  Grape varietals grown on our site include Cabernet Franc, Gruner Veltliner, Lemberger and Vidal Blanc.  We invite you to our tasting room to try our wine and beer, and enjoy our spacious outdoor areas with stunning views of the Blue Ridge mountains.

Located in Front Royal, Virginia, near the entrance to the beautiful Skyline Drive, Honey & Hops Brew Works is excited to offer some of Virginia’s best honey wine! Mead is one of the oldest alcoholic drinks, but is experiencing a resurgence across the country. Owned and operated by 3 brothers hailing from Alaska, Honey & Hops invites you into our totally redone tasting room where you can sample some of our award winning mead.

Located 2 miles north of Route 39 at Rockbridge Baths, Jump Mountain Vineyard is a family-owned farm winery. Our goal is to produce carefully crafted, European-style wine with a distinctly local character from grapes grown and processed on the property. We chose this Shenandoah Valley location specifically because of its suitability for growing grapes: limestone-based soils, low humidity and rainfall, and reliable daily breezes as well as the slopes and elevation. The first vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon was produced in 2011 and is still the backbone of our red wine production. Open by appointment.

Kindred Pointe Winery is located on 58 acres in Shenandoah County, 5 miles west of Mount Jackson, Virginia. Panoramic views and rolling pastures surround the tasting room which is located in a renovated horse barn. A peaceful, beautiful setting to enjoy a glass of wine with friends and family. We are conveniently located 5 miles west of I-81 with great logistics: good roads and driveway, convenient parking, handicapped accessible.

Located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley in Rockingham County, Marceline Vineyards is anchored by a beautiful log barn surrounded by patios, gardens, and a hill of wine grapevines. The vineyard and encompassing property is owned and operated by Susan Rudolph Pleasant with the help of her three children, Aaron, Micah, and Rachel. With shared family values, love of the land, and extreme determination the dream of opening a vineyard, winery, and event destination has become a reality.

Misty Mountain Meadworks is a small Virginia farm winery  specializing in making MEAD, often called Honey Wine, “Ambrosia” or “Nectar of the Gods.” As the oldest operating meadery in VA, our meadmaker, Richard, is very experienced, having began experimenting with mead making in 1983.  By 2004 his meads had become so popular they were persuaded to start a commercial Meadery. A new tasting room opened in 2021, so please join us for award-winning meads and all the legends and lore that go along with a celebration of mead and life!

Our distinctive winery building was modeled after a European style farmhouse and constructed in 1989. The below-ground cellar produces some 3000 cases of premium wine per year. In the European tradition, North Mountain Vineyards celebrates wine, food, guests, and special events throughout the year. Follow romantic and historic country roads and discover an enchanting winery nestled in a beautiful vineyard.

When it came time to design our wine label and name our line of wines…we couldn’t resist using the acronym for White Oak Lavender Farm (WOLF) and of course our peaceful wolf had to be purple! While visiting the farm you are welcome to walk one of the vineyards and taste our delicious wines (some are infused with lavender!). You are welcome to bring in some snacks or we have cheese and crackers available for purchase to enjoy with your wine. Choose from our enclosed, covered deck with heaters or ceiling fans. You may just love the purple chairs and farm tables! Outside we have several fire pits and lots of lovely seating.

Rockbridge Vineyard is the fruition of Shepherd Rouse’s dream to make fine wine in his native state of Virginia. After several years of education and experience in the wine industry, Shep returned home, purchased a farm in northern Rockbridge County in the Shenandoah Valley, at a higher elevation than most Virginia vineyards and began planting grapes. From this palette, Rouse is able to produce a full spectrum of wines to match a broad range of individual tastes. His motto is “All Virginia, All the time.”

The 2nd oldest winery in Virginia, Shenandoah Vineyards was founded in 1976 by the Randels and stayed in the family until 2018, when renowned winemaker Micheal Shaps purchased it. As a former consultant to Shenandoah Vineyards, Michael recognized the viticultural potential of the land. The tasting room and winery are housed in a Civil War-era barn on a bucolic farm setting with sweeping views of the Massanutten mountains.

The winery is tucked in the middle of the Shenandoah Valley with an easy jump off I-81 and a view of the rolling hills and surrounding mountains. The large tasting room is a warm, inviting, and spacious venue. We grow a mix of varietals such as Petit Verdot, Riesling, Vidal Blanc and Chambourcin. With a relaxing porch with views all around and an interior that embraces the area’s essence, you can enjoy our wines with a Virginia state of mind.

The focus is our Tasting House, a Federal style brick manor house dating back to 1807 and the namesake of our winery – Valerie Hill.

We are located in the eastern Shenandoah Valley in Page county, known for its rural character and scenic beauty, between the towns of Luray and Stanley. This is a working farm and vineyard; we also have a flock of natural-colored Romney sheep as well as free-roaming chickens. We invite you to come out and enjoy a day in the country. Bring a picnic and wander around the farm and vineyard or just sit on our deck, enjoying the wine and the surroundings.

Wolf Gap Vineyard and Winery is a 50-acre estate located in the Shenandoah Valley with spectacular views from the wine-tasting deck. Perched on a ridge, the deck offers valley and mountain views including Wolf Gap, the geographical feature from which the vineyard takes its name. Vineyards

These members of the Shenandoah Valley Wine Trail do not have a tasting room but they play an integral role in the Shenandoah Valley AVA by maintaining excellent vineyards and growing quality grapes.

M&R Vineyard is a family owned and operated vineyard located in Shenandoah County, Virginia. In 2012, JC Mansilla and David Rourke (M&R) purchased the hillside pasture property not only because of its incredible views of the Allegheny Mountains, but also for its limestone based soils, elevation and topography. We began preparing the site for establishing the vineyard by testing the soil composition, laying out, ripping and tilling the rows, and auguring the holes; and in the spring of 2013, the vines were planted. We have worked for local wineries and currently serve on the board of our local wine growers association in order to foster relationships and growth through service. Our vineyard is cared for the best way we know how which helps us to offer distinct, locally cultivated fruit to Virginia wineries.

They are located in Quicksburg, VA and can be reached at 540-740-2919.
