Shenandoah Valley Wine Trail

Rockbridge Vineyard is the fruition of Shepherd Rouse’s dream to make fine wine in his native state of Virginia. After several years of education and experience in the wine industry, Shep returned home, purchased a farm in northern Rockbridge County in the Shenandoah Valley, at a higher elevation than most Virginia vineyards and began planting grapes. From this palette, Rouse is able to produce a full spectrum of wines to match a broad range of individual tastes. His motto is “All Virginia, All the time.”

Ladyfish and Wesley Hodges join Rockbridge Vineyard and Brewery to present Trout-To-Table: a unique day of angling education and culinary exploration. All are welcome, no experience needed, all equipment provided. We will share a lesson on casting and fly-fishing fundamentals, then head to the trout stocked pond to practice our skills. After we work up an appetite, we will sit down together to enjoy a multi-course lunch highlighting trout and wine/beer pairings prepared by chef Wesley Hodges.
